The State of Connecticut, Department of Environmental Protection (CTDEP) is in the process of closing the Tire Pond in North Haven and Hamden, CT. Loureiro Engineering Associates, Inc. (LEA) is procuring 300,000 cubic yards of acceptable material in support of closure activities at this site.

The Tire Pond Site will be managed by LEA and its subsidiaries, with CTDEP oversight. Acceptable materials will be defined by a site specific material acceptance protocol and must meet this material acceptability protocol to qualify for reuse as grading and cover material during the closure of this site.
